Front Street Optometric Care Changes it’s Name and Location

Front Street Optometric Care is Moving and Changing its Name Back!

East Carolina Optometric Care Staff

That’s right, after over a decade in our Front Street office, Dr. Tiffany Jackson and her team are moving to Whiteville. Starting on July 5th, 2022, we’ll serve our clients in our new permanent eye care center at 2322 James B White Hwy N, Whiteville, North Carolina (our new phone number is 910-914-6442).

Additionally, our name going forward will be East Carolina Optometric Care, which was our practice’s original name before moving to our Front Street location 11 years ago. While we have greatly appreciated the support and love from Front Street, we’ve also recognized that Whiteville is underserved in eye care. Many people have to wait months before they can visit an eye doctor.

Since Dr. Jackson has been seeing patients part-time in Whiteville for the last 18 years, we decided that now is a great time to make it our permanent residence and start a new chapter for our eye care center!

The macula is crucial for eyesight, but many people over 50 suffer from macular degeneration. This condition doesn’t necessarily lead to total blindness, but it can gradually reduce eyesight and cause blurry vision over time.
